Climate Change Poem

The human population has more than quadrupled since I was a little girl
And these decades of prosperity we well may enjoy
yet of pollution of land, water and air
Signs of climate change and natural disasters are now seen everywhere

In the Artic a part of the World that is very cold
The Winters much mild and shorter we are told
And with climate change animals and birds are becoming rare

In the home of the polar bear,
The Antarctic Winter now warmer by five degrees
And the sea ice is smaller on the surrounding seas

As the Artic ice melt, sea levels breakthrough to flood coastal areas worldwide
And from all the dramatic changes in Nature nowhere for to hide,
The threat of natural disasters will cause fear worldwide
As the temperatures raise the more natural disasters there will be,
